Micheal Olafusi

Michael Olafusi is a Financial Modeler and Business Data Analysis specialist. He is a certified Advanced Financial Modeler (AFM). He is the first Nigerian to have a Microsoft Excel MVP (most valuable professional) award from Microsoft. It is the highest recognition in the Microsoft Excel expertise field. He is also a Microsoft Certified Trainer with MOS Excel 2013 and MOS Excel 2010 Expert professional certifications. Prior to becoming a full-time consultant, he worked as the Service Delivery Manager for 21st Century Technologies, Business and MIS analyst for Comviva – Airtel Africa CRBT Operations, and as a BSS Engineer for Nokia Siemens Networks.

He has done several financial and data analysis projects/trainings for Telecommunications companies, FMCG companies and other high-profile companies in Nigeria: Vodacom, Promasidor, MainOne, Laplace Technologies, Inlaks, MTN, DeltaAfrik, RusselSmiths, FCMB, Arik Air, Green Energy International Limited, FMDQ and many others. He has also consulted for companies outside the country like Heirloom Investment (Canada), YMCA Kentucky, LinkedInLeaders UK and CEI Canada.

Michael is a professional speaker and trainer. He is currently doing a Master in Financial Engineering (MScFE). He has an MBA from University of Nicosia, Cyprus, a B.Eng in Electrical Electronics from Federal University of Technology Akure and a Diploma in Stress Management from Stonebridge Associated Colleges, UK.

He is addicted to business/financial data analysis and enterprise solutions development. He is the developer of the Nigerian Market Data office app and Power BI stocks analysis dashboard.
